A valued P&G client struggled to reduce costs and project duration during the “top hole” phase of its drilling process. While the client would have multiple rigs drilling conductor holes simultaneously, they often found it difficult to line up a cement vendor who could complete up to six wells in a single day. Furthermore, they experienced costs ranging from $7,000USD to $16,000USD per conductor from their current cement vendors.
P&G provided a dedicated twin pumper and bulk capacity to move the 1,000 sacks of API Class A cement required to complete this job. Optimizing equipment utilization through our data-driven process, we were able to bring the cement costs of these conductors to under $6,500 on a per well basis.
